On Black March 2012 Ok. We hate the SOPA and PCIPA and all these, but what about us, unsigned indie artists? We don’t get airtime from major radio channels, we don’t enjoy royalties, we don’t have record contracts that promise us even our next album to be released anywhere else except the Internet. Yes, the Internet should be free for all, and undependent from censorship by the authorities, but we indie musicians rely solely on selling our CD-R’s and 7“‘s, our mp3’s from Bandcamp and our merch at gigs. With this extra income we can probably afford to pay the rent for our rehearsal place, or maybe a pair of drumsticks. So if you are really against SOPA and PIPA and PCIPA and all other Anti-Piracy-bullshit: SUPPORT INDEPENDENT MUSIC MAKERS!!! GO TO THE GIGS!!! BUY THE FUCKING BUTTON BADGES!!! LISTEN TO THE ALBUMS YOU BOUGHT FROM THE GIGS!!! (and why not support the indie movie artists too) -pössi
